About Until we meet again mom. There are so many special memories of you that will always bring smiles to our faces. If we could only have you back in our lives, just for a little while, we could sit and talk again just like we did just a few days ago. Patricia (Patti) Agnas Cavasina will be dearly missed by her husband, Joseph Cavasina, daughter, Jennifer Cavasina-Housley (Gregg), and son Colin Cavasina (Olivia). She is survived by her sisters, Susan Bailar (John) and Mary Monske. Patti passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 75 after battling the past year ALS. Patti was the daughter of Arthur and Geraldine Monske. She attended Chartiers Valley High School and graduated in 1967. She went to Earl Wheeler for 2 years for merchandising. After that she worked at Joseph Hornes as a section manager. In 1970 she met her husband and they married in 1971. They have two children, Jennifer born in 1976 and Colin in 1979. She devoted all her time to her children and helped instill values and an amazing work ethic. As her children we could not have asked for a better role model when it came to work ethic. Whether it was remodeling a house or attending to her job, she always gave her all and left nothing unfinished.( even if it meant running the sweeper at 1 in the morning). Patti was so devoted to her grandchildren and loved each with all she had. Her grandchildren (Olivia, Nolan, Alexandra, Isabella and Crosby) were the rhythm of her heart and the light of her soul. All five of them gave her a meaningful purpose and the strength to fight. In April of 2024 she was diagnosed with ALS. Her will was to give all her might toward battling what was ahead. As the disease progressed she still fought with every part of her being. The past couple of weeks she just grew more and more tired, even without sleep. As she became tired her body agreed. Although this awful disease has taken her, she still showed her strength and perseverance to battle at any will. The fact that mom is no longer here leaves a void in our heart, but knowing that she is no longer suffering from this awful disease allows us some comfort. We find condolence in all the memories each of us have and made as a family together. May she find solace with her parents and know that she has given each one of us a part of her. Mom’s presence will grace us daily in all that we have learned through her eyes.
