About	Jeffrey A. Dufresne, age 64, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 9, 2025, in Canonsburg Hospital. He was born June 21, 1960, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Albert and Willavene “Billie” Ford Dufresne. Jeff was raised in Rennerdale, was a graduate of Chartiers Valley High School Class of 1978, and was Presbyterian by faith. He had been a Junior Fireman and started his working life in construction and was last employed at IGS as a machine operator in Washington. Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping and being around the firepit with family and friends. He lived in Canonsburg for the past 10 years, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and will be missed by his dog, Uno. Jeff was a member of the Colliers Sportsman’s Association and the French Club. On August 24, 2012, he married Betty J. Ringer who survives. Also left to cherish his memory are his children, Marcel (Amanda) Dufresne of Carnegie, Albert “AJ” (Heather) Dufresne of Bridgeville, Sarah (Caleb) Benson of Port Allegheny, stepdaughters Terri (Kevin) Holmes of Washington and Melissa Ryder of the state of Louisiana, his sister Laurie Pivac (the late Paul) of Cecil, 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 3 nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents, is his sister Diane “Pinkie” Pozzi.
