About	Karen Lynn Helbling, age 70, of McMurray, PA, passed away after a lengthy battle with metastatic breast cancer on November 15, 2024. Born on August 19, 1954, in Pittsburgh, PA, she is the daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy Higgins. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jim Helbling, with whom she built a beautiful life. Loving mother to Jamie (Joe) Sadowski and Richie (Nadine) Helbling; Beloved Mimi to Gabbie, Carly, and Joey Sadowski, Bella, Kayla, Ana, and Eli Helbling; Karen is the eldest of six siblings. A loving and faithful servant of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Karen was dedicated to her family, her church, her friends and community finding joy in ministering to others. Karen was passionate about many things. She loved playing pickleball, riding bikes with her husband Jim, traveling, gardening, and crafting. She spent countless hours running the bookstore at the Bible Chapel, and leading the Cancer Support group there. Her love for family was boundless, and she was always creating memories and ensuring those around her felt loved. Karen’s close-knit family relationships were a central part of her life. She found great joy in her role as a grandmother, and her fairy garden for her grandkids was a special reflection of the love and care she poured into their lives.
