The driver of a pickup truck was killed Friday, March 1, after crashing on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.
State police said Daniel W. Henn, 54, of Pittsburgh, was driving northbound on I-79 with three passengers at 5:03 p.m. when his 2010 Ford F250 SuperCab went off the left side of the highway, then veered right, crossing both northbound lanes. Police said Henn then struck an embankment and the truck rolled over.
Henn was pronounced dead at the scene. His passengers, including a 5-year-old girl and 6-year-old boy, were taken by Slippery Rock Ambulance Service to Grove City Medical Center with suspected minor injuries. The other injured party was Andrea M. Kline, 44, of Pittsburgh. None of the occupants of the truck were wearing seat belts, the report states.
