About	Albert E. Byers, age 75, of Calabash, NC, and Pittsburgh, PA, passed away at his home on June 21, 2023. Albert is survived by his brother, Warren (Mary) Byers; and too many friends to name. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Hilda Byers. Albert's tribe of friends were his family and stood by his side his entire life. Among the best were his pups, Teddy, Reba, and Penny. Albert graduated from Slippery Rock State College and spent the greater part of his career teaching physical education at Carrick High School, Pittsburgh Public School District, where he met many of his lifelong cherished companions. He also taught special education students at Pioneer Education Center in Pittsburgh. Albert realized his dream of living near Sunset Beach, NC, where he spent many joyful days. Throughout his life, he most enjoyed boating on the rivers of Pittsburgh, traveling in his RV, and riding his Harley Davidson. Albert was a proud vegetarian and a lover of old Mustangs and animals of all kinds.
