About	James C. Leslie, 72, of Oakdale, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024 in his home. James was born on September 8, 1951 in Pittsburgh, a son of Orvalee Bertram Leslie and the late John Alvin Leslie. Mr. Leslie was an Air Force Academy graduate. He was so proud to have received his bachelors in science from the academy. After his school time, James went on to serve in the Air Force for many years. He was very proud to serve his county and his dedication to it never faded. Years later James worked for the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport in the terminal facility maintenance department. James loved his small town of Oakdale where he had resided for 20 years. He loved keeping to his local town and made numerous friends within the area. Surviving along with his mother, are his siblings, Dale (Linda) Leslie, Sherri (the late Edward) Margie, Kevin (Diane) Leslie and Brian (Lisa) Leslie, along with numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends in Oakdale.

So sorry to hear, hadn’t seen Jimmy since we graduated from high school but spent much time together on the mat. 1968 section championship, CV did well that year. Many fond memories.

Jimmy visited Penn State in 1971 when Penn State played Air Force. I invited him and some of his friends to my fraternity for a party. That's the last time I saw him.
