Graduation Year Class of 1973
Date of Passing Sep 12, 2022
About Jodi B. Miller 67, a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was employed as the Club Steward for the American Legion Post 490 in Castle Shannon PA for 32 years. Everyone who knew Jodi felt her big heart and giving nature. She exemplified what it meant to be a good friend and if you were not feeling well or just needed a little pick me up, you could always count on Jodi “The Soup Angel” to be there with one of her delicious soups or meals. Jodi loved spending time with her family and her granddaughters held a special place in her heart. She was content doing absolutely anything with them but she especially liked to teach them to bake, read them bedtime stories, and spoil them rotten for holidays and birthdays. For fun, Jodi enjoyed watching “her shows”, which included NCIS, Blue Bloods and the Chicago Med/Fire series. She loved Classic Rock and has quite an impressive list of rock concerts she attended since the age of 13. Jodi was preceded in death by her parents Burton and Bobbi Snyder and brother Michael Snyder. She is survived by her daughter and son-in- law Jamie and Seth Shipon and granddaughters Ella and Audrey. Jodi is also survived by sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Keith McCready, sister-in-law Fran Snyder, nieces and nephews, Christopher, Melissa, Jesse, Natalie, Kelli, Ken, Timmy, Corine, Drew, and Jenna. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, Jacob, Kendall, Madison, Mason, Corbin, Miles, Oak, Emmet, Lily, and Sophie.
