About	Charles E. “Chuck” Kolling, age 77, of McDonald, passed Wednesday, September 13, 2023. He was born January 26, 1946; a son of the late Charles H. and Margaret McDermitt Kolling. Chuck was a graduate of Chartiers Valley High School, class of 1963. He then started his own sub-contracting company, CEK installation; where he installed flooring mainly for Wilmac flooring in Carnegie. He retired in 2008. In 1997 he married Cheryl A. Bowen, who survives. Chuck was a member of the American Legion Post 485 in McDonald, the Atlasburg VFW, Cherry Valley Sportsman Association and Collier Sportsman Club. He loved hunting and shooting. He and his son raised Beagles together for hunting. He was an avid marksman, traveling to shoots with the Amateur Trap Shooting Association, where he was classified as a Class A shooter. Surviving are four children, Charles E. (Heather) Kolling II of Bridgeville, Andralee (Phil Walsh) Kolling of Heidelberg, Angela Holmes of Pittsburgh, and Michelle Noel of Pittsburgh; a sister Donna (Ron) Pingree of Minnesota; seven grandchildren, Deana Kolling, Zak Walsh, Sean and Brianna Lander, Jailyn, Kaileigh and Richelle Noel; three great-grandchildren, Raenah Webb, Royal Webb and Zak Walsh Jr.; many nieces and nephews.
