About	Donn Earl Yost, age 66, of Reserve Township, passed away due to complications of brain cancer on August 30, 2023. Donn was born in Pittsburgh PA on March 22, 1957 to Donald E. and Janet E. (McIlroy) Yost. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald E. “Chippie” Yost and brother Tom (Yosty). He leaves behind his best friend and loving partner of 18 years, Kathie Lynch. He also leaves behind his beloved daughters Jaime (Adam), Lauren (Andrew) and Callie (?ance, Scott), stepchildren Patrick and Shannon, his mother Janet E, brother Dale (Laurie), and sister Pam (Eric) Lawlor and sister-in-law Louise (screwy Louie). He is grandfather to Aubrie and Keegan, Kiera, Dayton, and Avery and Juniper and Vince and Zaine. He is also survived by his puppies Dalton, Junebug and Stitch and many nieces and nephews and many, many friends near and far. Donn was a loving partner, a loving son, a loving brother, a loving father and grandfather. He taught himself to play guitar and sang in church and local venues with a band of dear friends. He was a stationary engineer for many years. He was an avid softball player and his love for the sport was surpassed only by his love for his family. Donn gathered friends wherever he went and never lacked for words! He loved to ?sh and build models. He turned building models into a business, sharing his building and painting techniques with the modeling community. Donn considered the bands, his softball teams and modeling community his family as well. He loved his dogs and will be reunited with all who are waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge. Funeral services will be on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Schellhaas Funeral Home at 388 Center Avenue in West View. Viewing will be from 2-8 pm, with a short memorial service at 7:30 pm. All are welcome. Rest in peace Donn. There is a huge hole in our hearts without you here. Forever loved, never forgotten.
