Jerry L. Webb (aka, his favorite title, Mr. Webb), 74, of Kittanning, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at home in the arms of his loving wife, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 15, 1948 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Edward N. and June (Cordell) Webb. Jerry was a graduate from Point Park University where he earned his master's degree in mathematics. He was a teacher for Armstrong School District. His love was for education, and he made his home at Kittanning Township Elementary School, where he taught for 35 years before retiring. He took great joy in the relationships he had with thousands of students and coworkers over the years and the best parts of his life were truly spent in the classroom. The support and love he had for his students were second only to the support and love he showed as a dad. His daughter wishes to express her condolences to anyone who was not fortunate enough to have a dad as funny and as "cool" as hers. Jerry was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Kittanning. He was a 50-year member of the Kittanning Elks Lodge #203, and a 32nd degree Mason, Lodge #244. In Jerry's free time, he enjoyed shooting on the Rupert Farm with his best friend Larry, reminiscing on mischievous childhood adventures with his lifelong best friend Herb and having a cold IC Light with his daytime buddies at the Elks. Mr. Webb also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was a constant source of comedic relief, even as he was battling cancer the past few months. He is survived by his beloved family; wife of 47 years Barbara (Painter) Webb, of whom he married in 1975; daughter Erika (Jason Metro) Webb of Kittanning; his Lab Shelby; many extended family members and many great friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, John Figole, Jr.
