About	Marie T. (Palmieri) Mack, 63, of Oakdale, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family in her home. Marie was born on March 30, 1958, in Italy, a daughter of the late Giovanni Palmieri and Clementina Palmieri of Oakdale. Mrs. Mack was a nurse’s aide for Kane Hospital-Scott Twp., where she served for 47 years. Marie loved to travel, especially to the beach and Erie, Pa. She often enjoyed collecting beach glass while traveling around. And for her time spent at home, there was always some type of craft that Marie was working on. She enjoyed all of these things in the company of her family. Spending as much time possible with her family was a priority in Marie’s life. Her family surrounded her with love and happiness and Marie did just the same. Along with her mother, Clementina Palmieri, surviving is her loving husband of 26 years, Gary Mack, children, Angela (Justin) Jenkins of North Carolina and Danielle (Andrew) Liesch of Hickory, step-daughter, Courtney (Adam) Sullivan, her four grandchildren, brother, George (Lori) Palmieri and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Giovanni Palmieri.
