She was born on March 24, 1969 in Sarasota, FL and graduated from Chartiers Valley High School in 1987. Brenda was the daughter of Jerry and Ann Close; widow to Daniel Hentosz; loving mother to Carissa (Christian) Novak, Danny, Breanna, and Angelina; cherished grandmother to Lincoln and Reagan; sister to Jerry Close, Jr. (Kim) ; sister-in-law to Terry, Tony, and John Hentosz. Loving partner and companion George Farrell; Nieces - Shelby Close , Jerrica Close (Christian Hack) & Delaney Close, Nephew - Jerry (Kim) Close III, Great niece - Ella Hack; best friend to Sharon Palfreyman and Kim Johnson Hyatt. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and dog, Mocha. While she loved going out to dinner (a true foodie) and vacationing at the beach, her favorite past-time was traveling to Kentucky to spend time with her grandsons. Brenda worked as a dental assistant at Pittsburgh Orthodontic Group and was dedicated to her job. Brenda was loved by everyone – indeed the most extraordinary person you would ever meet! She had a way of making each person in her life feel incredibly special. No one had a smile quite like hers; she was a ray of sunshine. Brenda lived life to the fullest and was always up for a new adventure (skiing, tap dancing, Pitt games, Steeler games). Our community is heartbroken; she will truly be missed.
