About	Edward "Eddie" Patrick Carmack, 49, of Scott Township died Tuesday, June 22, 2021 after a three-year battle with cancer. He was the beloved father of Blake Carmack; the only son of Patrick Earl and the late Dixie Lea Carmack; the "little" brother of the late Cynthia Marie Carmack; the late Patricia Lee Carmack; and Suzanne "Suzie" Carmack; and the favorite uncle of Christopher, Brandon and Sophia Celentano and Patricia Reardon. Eddie was a hilarious, generous, protective and service-driven man , whose career spanned serving as a police officer for the city of Charleston, South Carolina and the CIA headquarters. For the last six years he Served and protected on the University of Pittsburgh police force where he realized his dreams of becoming a detective and SWAT team member. He loved hockey (both watching the Pens and playing with men half of his age on #team944); country music; and his many wonderful friends from his days in high school at Chartiers Valley (class of 1990) and in college at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He was a friend to everyone he met and will be in our hearts always.
