Scott L. Weitzel, 62, of Mt. Pleasant Township, died at his home January 18, 2021. He was born February 28, 1958 in McKeesport; a son of the late Robert C. “Bob” and Eleanor M. (Cauley) Weitzel. Scott was a graduate of Chartiers Valley High School and earned an Associate’s Degree in Electronics. He worked as an electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 5, where he retired from in 2003. Scott loved cars. He enjoyed working with his hands and was talented in all of the construction trades. He worked with HVAC, was an electrical mechanic and was a painter. He was a member of Centennial LaFayette Lodge #544 F. & A.M. in Carnegie. On April 22, 2002, he married Margaret “Peggy” Mihalics, who survives. A brother, Robert “Bobby” Weitzel precedes him in death
