About	Age 65, passed away peacefully January 1, 2021, in the presence of family. He was born February 13, 1955, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Henry C. and Mary Alice (Donley) Fry. He shared over 20 years of his life and four children with his longtime friend and love, Grace (Finke) Fry, who preceded him in death. Beloved father of Laura (Fry) Dockery and husband, Larry, Molly Fry and partner, Larry, Sam Fry, Hank Fry and partner, Amber. Survived by eight grandchildren, Daesha Ely, Chance and Patience Lewis, Jayden Daugherty, Tiernan and Joshua Dockery, Emelia and Rosalee Fry, and Cory Fry. Beloved brother to Peggy and G. Daniel Carney and Michael (the late Janet) and Donna Fry. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. John loved to love on people. Even more than his love for people and conversation, John was an avid and accomplished fisherman and hunter (except for turkeys). His favorite place was on the quiet shores of Lake Erie, preparing delicious food on a simple grill for friends and family. John could spend half an hour describing how to properly eat a grape. While John held many occupations over the years, what brought him the most joy was making people laugh and enjoy life. He excelled in positions that suited his servant heart and love for people. John had a strong faith and enjoyed sharing his love for God with others.
