Age 65, on March 15, 2019. He was a U.S. Marine and was stationed at the Presidio of Monterey, California. After his service, Ryan moved to Springfield, MO where he worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons for 30 years. After retirement, he continued to operate a pool business in the Springfield area. Ryan was preceded in death by his parents Perry Cavanaugh and Anna Mae Smith Cavanaugh. Left to cherish their memories of him are his children, Ryan Cavanaugh, Jr., Shannon Almanzar and husband Johnathan; and Christopher Cavanaugh and wife Shanan ; grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, and Emily; sisters, Cheryl Borders and husband Roy, and Loy Arnold and husband Denny; brother, Edward Cavanaugh and wife Shiela, and his loving companion, Jeanette M. Marlay.
