About	Former Scott Township Police Chief, Stanley J. Butkus, Jr., 75, of Cecil, sadly lost his battle with cancer and passed away earlier this week. Stanley is survived by his two children Stan and Cheryl, grandson Dylan, sister Barbara and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He loved his children and grandson unconditionally and he will be greatly missed by them. Stanley began his career as a police officer in 1966 with Scott Township. He served many years as Sergeant and then as Chief. There are no services planned. A private family remembrance will be held. Memorials to honor Stan may be made to any of the Humane Animal Rescues.
