| About Me | I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps immediately after graduating. During the next 22 plus years, I rose through the ranks from private to Gunnery Sergeant, was appointed Warrant Officer, later was selected as a Limited Duty Officer and retired as a Captain of Marines in 1988. Highlights of my career and life include living in or serving in Italy, France, Spain, Germany, England, Viet Nam, Philippines, Okinawa Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and numerous cities throughout the United States. I have highlighted some of his many military awards, duties and career assignments: Air Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal and various Unit and foreign awards. Additionally, I was selected Policeman of the Year by the Prince William County VA police for bravery during an armed barricaded suspect situation. I have been an accident reconstruction investigator in Naples Italy; combat Aircrew member in View Nam; Marine Corps Criminal Investigator Quantico VA; Special Agent with the Naval Investigative Service (NCIS) Okinawa Japan; Distinguished Instructor, at the US Army Criminal Investigations Command School, Ft McClellan AL; School Board Member, Ft McClellan AL; Executive Officer, Armed Forces Police, Washington DC; and Military Police Operations Officer, Quantico, VA. I did not stop after retiring from the Marine Corps. I served as the District Manager of the Virginia Department of Social Services Fredericksburg District Child Support Office’s ten counties for 32 years. I love dogs and especially bulldogs. I am active with the Bulldog Club of America (BCA) since 1972. I served as their National President (twice), Board Member then Secretary of the Charitable Fund, Councilor, Division President and along with the Division 7 members, hosted four National Specialty Shows. I was an approved American Kennel Club (AKC) judge and among his many judging assignments always spoke of judging the English Bulldog Club of France and Bulldog Club of America National Specialty shows. I am a Capitol Bulldog Club member and a Life Member of the Greater Fredericksburg VA Kennel Club where I held various offices, was their first Delegate to the AKC and was awarded the AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship Award by them.
