About	Graveside service for Mrs. Enid Emrey, 90, former Charlevoix resident, was June 14 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, Calif. Mrs. Emrey died June 12, 1984, at Glendale. The former Enid Todd was born Jan. 16, 1894, in Cheboygan. She moved to Charlevoix at a young age with her family and graduated from Charlevoix High School and Charlevoix County Normal School. She taught at a rural school in the Boyne Falls area and at Charlevoix Elementary Schools. On Nov, 17, 1916, she married Charles H. Emrey in Charlevoix. The couple lived in Texas and California before returning to Charlevoix in the late 1920s. They returned to California in 1945, and Mr. Emrey preceded her in death in June 1978. Mrs. Emrey was a life member of the Charlevoix Chapter 72, Order of Eastern Star, and a former member of the Charles Dickens Study Club in Charlevoix. She was also a member and past president of Chapter K.D., P.E.O. in Glendale. Survivors include one son, Robert C. Emrey of Glendale; three grandsons, James and Thomas of Glendale and Robert C. Jr. of Gaithersburg, Md.; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Gordon Todd of Hayward, Calif. Arrangements were handled by Kiefer-Eyerick Funeral Home, Glendale, Calif.
