About Opal W. Ingalls, 81, of Charlevoix, died Oct. 28, 1989, at Charlevoix Area Hospital.
Funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Tues- day, Oct. 31, at the Winchester Funeral Home, Charlevoix. The Rev. Benton Heisler of the Charlevoix United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Charlevoix.
Mrs. Ingalls was born Oct. 12, 1908, in Eveline Township, the daughter of Eugene C. and Sylvia A. (Brock) Lewis. She attended the Ironton School and graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1928.
On Sept. 18, 1932, she married Glenn H. Ingalls in Charlevoix. He preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1968.
Mrs. Ingalls was a life member and past matron of the Charlevoix Order of Eastern Star Chapter No.72. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church and a member of the Thoburn Nagler Circle of the church. She was a member of the Charlevoix Area Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include: three nephews, Russell Lewis of Charlevoix, James Lewis of South Haven and Donald Heise of Garland, Texas; five nieces, Mrs. Eugene (Maxine) Bergmann of Charlevoix, Lorna Lewis of Azusa, Calif., Mrs. Anthony (Beth) Mulack of Central Lake, Mrs. William (Leone) Mick of Bellaire and Mrs. Walter (Lois) Wiedbrauk of Lansing.
The family suggests memorials to the Charlevoix United Method- ist Church. Envelopes for memo- rials are available at the Winchester Funeral Home where friends may call 7-9 p.m. today (Monday).
