Bernard D. "Bernie" Holtzman, 50, of Charlevoix, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at Charlevoix Area Hospital.
Bernie was born April 11, 1952, in Bay Port, the son of Robert E. and Stella (Pacewicz) Holtzman. He graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1970.
Bernie is survived by his daughter, Nicole, and sons, Michael and Christopher, all of Gaylord; his mother, Stella F. Pearl, of Charlevoix; brother, Robert E. Holtzman, of Charlevoix; nephew, Todd Holtzman, of Chandler, Ariz.; and niece, Tobi Curtis, of Charlevoix.
Funeral was 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at the United Methodist Church in Charlevoix. The Rev. Todd Thompson officiated and burial took place in Brookside Cemetery, Charlevoix. Gifts made in memory of Bernie may be directed to the United Methodist Church of Charlevoix. Arrangements were handled by Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix.
