About	Elizabeth M. Meadows, 76, of Charlevoix, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010, at the Walnut Grove Living Center in McAlester, Oklahoma. Funeral will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 30, at the Norwood United Methodist Church, the Reverend Rap Posnik officiating. Burial will be at the Norwood Cemetery. Liz was born October 28, 1933, in Charlevoix, the daughter of Cecil and Jennie (Antonissen) Richardson. She attended the Norwood School, and graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1952. Liz worked for the Charlevoix Public Schools for over twenty years in food service. A life resident of the Charlevoix/Norwood area, in February of 2010, she moved to Oklahoma to live with her daughter, Kathy. She was a member of the Norwood United Methodist Church, the Barnard Grange, the Charlevoix Senior Center, and was a volunteer at Charlevoix Area Hospital. Liz is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Jon) Harris of Wilburton, OK, Barb (Andy) Woolery of Albuquerque, NM; sons, Rich (Robyn) Meadows of Harrisburg, PA, Scott (Rain) Meadows of Carrboro, NC; grandchildren, Tami Harris, Jennifer and Steven Woolery, Nicholas and Kaitlyn Meadows, Tessa, Raymond and RJ Perea; great-grandchildren, Aliciah, Antonia, Rachel, Joseph, and Eudora; sister, Beverly Smith of Charlevoix. Liz was preceded in death by her daughter, April in 1991; also her sister, Marilyn Drenth, parents, Cecil, Jennie, and step mother, Vida Richardson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Norwood United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM, Friday, at the Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix.
