About	Ex-Charlevoix Dairy Owner Is Murdered CHARLEVOIX - Lawrence Ecklund, 52, of North Miami Beach, Florida, was shot and killed by an intruder at his home Wednesday evening. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lithgow Funeral Home, in North Miami Beach. Interment will also be there. He was born in Charlevoix February 17, 1921 and attended Charlevoix schools, graduating from Charlevoix High School. He owned and operated Ecklund Dairy in Charlevoix until 1951 when he moved to North Miami Beach. On October 12, 1941 he married Agnes O'Dell, In Charlevoix. Mr. Ecklund was a member of the B.P.O. Elks, in Petoskey and the United Methodist Church, in Charlevoix. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons. Lars, of N. Miami Beach and Carl, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Ila Jean) Stoakes, of N. Miami Beach and Debra, at home; his mother, Mrs. Margaret Ecklund, of Traverse City; two brothers, Adolph, of See Mr. Ecklund
