About	Roberta Joan (Case) Scholey, 76, of Charlevoix, passed away Jan. 25, 2014, at Georgia House in Charlevoix. She was born March 21, 1937, in Detroit, to George Robert and Dorothy Case. Bobbie graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1955, and earned an associate degree in nursing at Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. She practiced nursing in obstetrics at Charlevoix Area Hospital, retiring after 28 years. Bobbie loved spoiling her grandkids, and loved taking care of the babies at the hospital. She was a member of the Community Church of God in Charlevoix. Roberta is survived by her sons, George (Sharon) Scholey, and Rob (Kelly) Scholey, all of Charlevoix; stepdaughter, Sharon Daher-Jubenville, of Windsor, Ontario, Canada; grandchildren, Andrew, Christopher, Taylor, Carly, Rian, Eric, Kevin, Michael, Andrew, Christopher and Monique; sister, Merrie Marthens, of Grand Rapids; brother, Ken (Maryann) Case, of Boseman, Mont. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, on July 4, 1989; son, Kevin, and stepson, Michael. The funeral will be 4 p.m. today, Monday, Jan. 27, at the Community Reformed Church in Charlevoix, where visitation begins at 2 p.m. The Rev. Neil Turner will officiate, and burial will take place in the spring at Brookside Cemetery in Charlevoix.
