About	Dorothy R. Resch, 82, of Kenosha, passed away Thursday, August 25th, 2005, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. Born March 17, 1923, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Phil and Myrtle (Anderson) Howe. She moved to Michigan as a child, and later moved to Kenosha where she has resided for 62 years. She was a 1942 graduate of Charlevoix High School in Michigan. On January 8, 1949, at St. Mark's Rectory, she married Alex P. Resch. Before her marriage, she worked at Nash Motors and the Kenosha Country Club. She later worked as office manager at Sunnyside Florist for 33 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband Alex; two daughters, Barbara (John) Stang of Columbus, IN, and Diane (Charles) Cannistra of West Allis, WI; her great aunt, Clara Ferguson of Glenwood, IL; three grandchildren, Stephanie Stang of Granger, IN, Elizabeth Stang of Indianapolis, IN, and Alexander Cannistra of West Allis, WI. Dorothy was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, zealous grandmother and a terrific homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and step brothers, William and Elliott Howe. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 29th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
