About	Margaret M. Haggerty of Charlevoix passed away at her home Saturday, November 3, 2012. She was born December 25, 1920, in Charlevoix to Jerry and Hazel (Shearer) Haggerty. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Petoskey, and worked as a clerk for the Charlevoix County Register of Deeds, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, and the District Health Department. Margaret graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1940. She was an avid downhill skier, enjoyed cross country skiing, and snowmobiling. She loved to watch the deer and wildlife. Margaret is survived by her friend, Jean Swanson of Charlevoix; nephews, Richard Haggerty of Charlevoix, Mike (Debbie) Haggerty of Milford; nieces, Julie Emerson of Miss., Rita Haggerty of Charlevoix; sister-in-law, Patricia Haggerty of Charlevoix. Visitation will be 3-5:00pm, Saturday, November 10, at the Winchester Funeral Home in Charlevoix. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Northwest Michigan, 220 Garfield, Charlevoix, MI 49720.
