CHARLEVOIX -- Funeral services for Mrs. Patrick R. (Margaret A. McCracken) Martin, 28, who was dead on arrival at the Charlevoix Area Hospital Saturday evening after having been ill at home, will be held at the Evangelical Lutheran Church, in East Jordan at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Arden K. Barden of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in East Jordan will officiate. Burial will be in Brookside cemetery. The body is at the Winchester Funeral Home where friends may call this evening. Born in Flint Oct. 28, 1945, Margaret Ann McCracken came to Charlevoix with her parents in 1947. She was a graduate of the Charlevoix High School. She was a member of the Evangelical church in East Jordan. For several years she had been employed at Hoskins Manufacturing Co. here. Besides her husband, whom she married Nov. 22, 1973, at East Jordan, she is survived by a daughter, Debra; three sons, Robert, Thomas and Matthew; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd McCracken of Charlevoix; a brother. Timothy, and two sisters, Mrs. Daniel Bean and Mrs. Donald Williams, all of Charlevoix; Iwo step-sons,Patrick Martin of Charlevoix and Michael Martin of Alanson; five step-daughters, Mrs. Laura Gill of Big Rapids, Mrs. Henry Archey of Charlevoix, Barbara, Susan and Frances Mary Martin of Alanson; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Alfreda McCracken of Flint and Mrs. Margaret Storchschein of Charlevoix.
