About	KAMIAH -- A graveside service for Geneva Jean Throop, 74, a Kamiah homemaker, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Kamiah Cemetery. She died of a heart attack Sunday at Syringa General Hospital at Grangeville. She was born Jan. 22, 1923, to Edward and Julia Cork Potter at Charlevoix, Mich. She grew up there and graduated from Charlevoix High School. She married Wesley Throop July 10, 1945, at Grand Blanc, Mich. She worked as a welder for the war effort during World War II at the Fisher Body Tank Plant at Grand Blanc. The couple moved to the Kamiah area in 1952. She worked as a nurse's aide for State Hospital North at Orofino then as a custodian for the Kamiah School District. She enjoyed woodworking, crafts and the company of her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband at the couple's Kamiah home; a daughter, Joan Geneva Sanders of Odenton, Md.; two sons, Wesley Edward Throop of Idaho Falls and Bob Throop of Kamiah; two sisters, Bessie De Vries of Charlevoix and Anna Jeltema of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a brother, Allan Potter of Ellsworth, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
