Betty Kay Trigg Obituary
Betty Kay Trigg, age 74, of Owosso, Michigan, passed away January 27, 2025. She was born on February 19, 1950, in Charlevoix, Michigan, to Howard and Norma Brown.

Betty graduated from Charlevoix High School. She married William Kieth Trigg soon after, and together they started their family with the birth of their son, Jason. Raising her children was her primary vocation when the stork delivered a set of twin daughters, Heather and Raenada. She later returned to the workforce taking a position with Big Wheel in Owosso before hiring on at the United States Postal Service Processing Center in Lansing, retiring in 2005.

She was also an integral part of the Corunna Church of the Nazarene community, serving as both a longtime member and treasurer. Throughout the years, her family came to know her as quite the chef of wild game, and proudly watched as she received first place for her Mesquite & Tangy Rabbit recipe in a Wild Game Cook-off on the local television show “Michigan Outdoors”.

She is survived by her children: son Jason and wife Leah Trigg of Monrovia, Indiana, daughter Heather Trigg and husband Trevor Abney of Greenwood, Indiana, and daughter Raenada and husband Brian Miller of Franklin, Indiana; grandchildren: Jaden Keating, Hanna Keating, Cooper Trigg, Keigen Miller, Tatum Miller, Lydia Trigg, Sam Miller, and Mitchell Trigg; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband: William Kieth Trigg; her parents: Howard Brown and Norma Pike; and her siblings: Marilyn Sobleski, and Bill Brown.
