Frederick G. (Ted) Ager, 67, owner of the Argonne Supper Club near Charlevoix, died May 27, 1987, at his Marion Township home. A memorial mass will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 29, at St. Marys Church, Charlevoix. The Rev. Casi- mir J. Zawacki will be the cele- brant.
Mr. Ager was born Dec. 1, 1919, in Charlevoix, the son of George and Edna (Hull) Ager. He attended and graduated from Charlevoix High School in 1937.
In 1943, he married the former Margaret Chvatil of Charlevoix. She preceded him in death in 1943.
During World War II, Mr. Ager served with the U.S. Air Force in the African and European The- aters.
In 1947 he married the former Clara E. Speigl in Charlevoix. They have always resided there.
Mr. Ager has been the owner of the Argonne Supper Club since 1962. He was a member of Charlevoix Post No. 1153, Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a charter member of the Charlevoix Lions Club.
Survivors include: his wife; two sons, Fred of Harbor Springs and Steve of Charlevoix; one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Cindy) Whitley of Charlevoix; five grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes for that purpose are available at the Winchester Funeral Home, Charlevoix.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
