About	Richard Jolliffe Richard L. Jolliffe, 94, of Ellsworth, passed away on January 8, 2025 at the American House in Charlevoix. He was born on October 4, 1930, in Charlevoix, the son of William and Frances (Lord) Jolliffe. Richard served his country during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1953. In his younger years, he enjoyed camping, going on motorcycle trips with his family and was a long- time volunteer at Good Samaritan in Ellsworth. Surviving are 4 children, Susan (Dave) Maas of Jamestown, MI, Kevin Jolliffe of Jenison, MI, Rhonda (Amy) Jolliffe of Akron, OH, Laura (AL) Elhart of East Jordan, a brother Bob (Noreen) Jolliffe as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his wife Esther Jolliffe, his parents and several siblings. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ellsworth Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Pastor Chris Wallace will officiate. Military honors will open up the funeral service at the funeral home. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services also at the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring at Norwood Cemetery.
