About	Thurl L. Case, age 91, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in Punta Gorda, Florida. Thurl has lived in Sandusky, Michigan the past sixty-five years. She was born September 24, 1929, in Charlevoix, Michigan to the late Milo Kane and Emma (Wakefield) Kane. She resided in Charlevoix prior to her move to Sandusky. She married Frank Case, October 11, 1947, in Charlevoix; Frank passed in 2012. She is survived by one son, Ronald (Vicky Stirrett-Case) Case of Punta Gorda, FL; one daughter, Laurie (Peter) Pterneas of Center Line, MI; one grandson, Ryan (Helen) Case of Lockport NY, two granddaughters, Karen (Kevin) Moll of Grand Island, NY, Melanie (Arnt) Hegg of Mt. Pleasant, SC; four great grandchildren, Connie Lin Case and Warren Case of Lockport, NY, and Charlie Moll and Margot Moll of Grand Island, NY., and two brothers, Herbert (Margo) Kane of Charlevoix, MI; Sam (Barb) Kane, Charlevoix, MI. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank, her parents, and three sisters, Helen Shaw, Charlotte (Glennie) Batchelder, and Belma Webster. Thurl was also proud to have Vicky's sons and their families in her life: Matt (Anna) Stirrett of McMinnville, OR and their children William and Georgia; and Nicholas (Jill) Stirrett of Chesterfield, MI and their children Madison and Liam.
