Lansing Age 53. Valerie Wellman passed away December 27, 2012. Val was born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan then lived in Charlevoix, Michigan for most of her life, where she graduated from Charlevoix High School. Val held the position as supervisory bank teller for Old Kent Bank of Petoskey, Michigan and most recently worked in medical records at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. She will always be remembered by her family and friends for her beautiful smile, her warm and friendly heart towards everyone, and her quick wit which made us all laugh. Valerie is survived by her mother, Helen Wellman; brother, Jeff Wellman; sister-in-law, Julie Wellman; nephews and nieces: Tyler, Claire, and Madison Wellman; and boyfriend, Randy Peeper. As requested by Val, there will be no services. Donations may be made to the local humane society to help all pets.
