About	John (Bert) Pearl, 70, formerly of Ironton, died Jan. 20, 1991, at Port Charlotte, Fla. Mr. Pearl was born Nov. 5, 1920, in Charlevoix, the son of Bernice and Reuben Pearl. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1942-45 and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 110 and Loyal Order of Moose, No. 2121, both of Port Charlotte; and Elks Lodge No. 2606 of Punta Gor- da, Fla. He is survived by his wife, Jean, of Port Charlotte; two sons, John of Charlevoix and Charles (Dan) of Harrisburg, Pa.; two brothers, Robert of Charlevoix and Howard of Kent, Wash.; and three grand- children. Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Charlevoix, in the spring. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes for that purpose are available at the Winchester Funeral Home. There will be no services at this time.
