David W. Streeter, 39, of Charlotte, N.C., died Nov. 5, 1995, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 11, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Charlotte, N.C., with the Rev. Will Hinson and the Rev. Fred Masad officiating. The family will receive friends in the parish hall after the service. Committal will be private.
David was born Nov. 26, 1955, in Limestone, Maine, the son of Mrs. Marilyn Streeter Pardee and the late Lawrence Edward Streeter. He was a 1973 graduate of Charlevoix High School and attended The Art Institute in Atlanta for Photography and became an accomplished photographer. In addition to photographing weddings and charitable events, he also worked as a senior laboratory technician with Wolf Camera in Charlotte, N.C.
David is survived by his partner of 18 years, Ed Brumfield, of Charlotte, N.C.; his mother, Mrs. Marilyn Streeter Pardee, of Charlevoix; sister, Laurie Drayer and her children, Kristen, Shannon and Matthew, all of Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Carol Hilton, of Charlevoix; brother, Michael Streeter, of Asheville, N.C.; brother, Dan Pardee, of Charlevoix; grandmother, Mrs. Leona Zanner, of Traverse City; and Ed's mother, who was a loving mother to David as well, Mrs. Lois Brumfield, of Charlotte, N.C.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to The David W. Streeter Trust, 2517 Amber Creste Lane, Charlotte, N.C. 28212.
