ALBERT WIDDIFIELD, a former resident of Charlevoix, was one of the passengers aboard the United Air Lines ill-fated DC-7 which crashed Saturday in Grand Canyon, Ariz.
He was born in Charlevoix, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Widdifield, and was graduated from Charlevoix high school in 1924. He lived at Riverside, Ill, and was with the Sunbeam Corporation. He spent considerable time in Charlevoix visiting his mother. Surviving are his wife, Virginia; two daughters, Lee and Lynn, and a brother Kenneth in California, a retired executive of Life magazine.
