Jerome (Jerry/Skip) Skippergosh walked on in the evening of June 6, 2023. He leaves behind his children, Lawrence (Rhonda) Skippergosh, Matthew Skippergosh (Amanda Montegue), Kristyne Skippergosh, and Tyler Skippergosh; his grandchildren, Wade, Anna, Lilah, and Rowan; and his siblings Marilyn (Raymond), Larry (Patty), James "Putt" (Brenda), Joyce (Sam), and Mike (Joanne). He also leaves behind his partner, Saundra Coullard, whom he loved so dearly. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Francis Skippergosh, and his brother Kenneth. He spent his adult life working as an electrician. He retired from the City of Wyoming in 2017 to finally enjoy retirement, which he did. After retiring, he and Saundra relocated to Baldwin, MI, where they spent their time golfing, playing cards, and enjoying time with friends. He was adored by all who knew him. He was full of light and laughter and was certain to make jokes. He will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, June 17 at 1:00pm, located at Kewadin Indian Mission Church: 7248 Cairn Hwy, Kewadin, MI 49648. In lieu of flowers, please bring your memories and laughs.
