About Me	About me ... well, when God made me he was just showing off. I was born in Elba, AL and was so surprised by my own birth that I couldn't speak or walk for a year. I was raised in Troy, AL by my grandparents who taught me about the love of family and that the richest men didn't alway have material wealth. I graduated high school in 1987 and went on to college at Troy State University. I am a member of Delta Chi Fraternity and graduated college with a BS in Business Adminstration and a MS in Human Resources Managment. Along the way I had two great sons (Michael Alexander and Houston Paul). Worked here and there until I made my career with state government. It was my career that led me to meet my soul mate and my beautiful bride, Cheri Tillery. Life is good and I have been truly blessed along the way. But life ain't always beautiful, a few heart by-pass surgeries and a couple of heart transplants along the way wakes you up to the real world and just how important family, friends and the love of both of those are more important than any material thing you could ask for. I am so thankful for my donor families and the gift of life they have given me. I am a big time advocate of organ donation and am living proof that it pays off to be an organ donor because you will extend the life of someone and live on in the souls you bless with your gift.
