Fredrick Russell "Russ" Eplett, 69, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Born in High Point, N.C., Fredrick worked as a V.P. of Engineering with Carrier/ United Technologies and Emerson Electric for 38 years, retiring in 2005. He attended Trinity Episcopal Church and was a member of the choir, also a Tenor and served on the Board of Directors of the Philharmonic Chorus; Vice President and Governance of Heartland Chamber Chorale; Board of Directors for SCORE.
Surviving are his wife, Janice Howe Eplett; sons, Jeffrey (fiance Renee Alexander) Eplett of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Christopher (Jennifer Jumper) Eplett of Natick, Mass.; brother, Richard (Mary) Eplett of Wimauma, Fla.; mother-in-law, Winifred Howe of Fort Wayne, Ind.
Fredrick was preceded in death by his parents William Russell and Gladys Irene Eplett.
