Connie Jean Peine Williams
Class of 1971
After more than 30 years spent in Education, Dr. Connie William's retired for the 2nd time. She taught in the Cincinnati area of Ohio, then moved to NC where she continued her career in education as an educational leader at the local, state, and national level. She earned her Ph.D. from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she also taught as an adjunct faculty member for years before retiring in NC.
She now lives in the beautiful coastal community of Folly Beach, SC just outside of Charleston where she continues her educational leadership as a Literacy Consultantto and an adjunct faculty member at The College of Charleston.
She is married to Dr. Warren Williams, a retired psychiatrist after being divorced, then widowed. She has raised 2 sons, Colin and Ian Lasch and now has 4 beautiful grandchildren - 3 boys and a girl.
