About	Teacher/Administrator at Chapel Hill for many, many years, Husband of Frances Smith, teacher at Chapel Hill for many years, Father of Steve, "Bubba", and Craig "Snuffy" Smith. Both alumni of Chapel Hill and retired teachers. He died peacefully at the age of 96. He was married to our mother Frances Smith for 63 years. He will be missed!! We love you dad.

I remember when he was principal and visited Mrs. Daniel’s 3rd grade class and asked if anyone knew the most important thing about the word Christmas
