Robert played the trumpet in the 9th Grade Marching Band and marched in the Parada Del Sol and competed at the State Level. Robert joined the Navy and earned the rank of Chief Aircraft Structural Mechanic. He fell ill in his home in Georgia passed away 5 days later. Robert was always the center of attention and full of life. He is buried at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego, CA
