Natalie Vie
Class of 2004
Vie, 22, trains at the Arizona Fencing Center in Mesa. She is about a dozen years behind in experience and 5 inches shorter than her competition. She started fencing four years ago and qualified for the Olympic trials in April.
She missed the Beijing Olympic Games by two places.
Natalie was the captain on of the Women's epee team at ASU for 2 years
Natalie Vie is currently the national collegiate champion in the United States. She is ranked nationally and internationally. She has traveled to different countries including Cuba representing the Unites States in World Cups.
Natalie Vie also has been featured in the newspaper multiple times and was interviewed on 3 tv news for upcoming 2012 olympic athletes.
