| About Me | I graduated from UGA in 1982 and found a job in the lab at the Georgia Retardation Center. I worked there for 15 years until the facility closed. I transferred to the State Public Health Laboratory in Newborn Screening in 1997 and have been here ever since. After 44 years of being single, I fell in love and got married. About 1 year later, she filed for divorce. 3 monthes after the divorce was final, my brother's 2 boys (14 and 17 at the time) came to stay with me for "a couple weeks." I have had guardianship of them for almost 12 years now. The oldest has special needs (high functioning), graduated from Georgia Gwinnett College, and works full-time at Kroger.
