The son of James Steere and Susan Sumner. He was born January 28, 1975, in Tampa where he lived his whole life. He was a devoted Church organist, brother, uncle, son, and friend. He loved being silly and light hearted and making those around him laugh. He had a thoughtful, gentle spirit, and a smile that will be missed.

He grew up going to Seminole Heights United Methodist Church, and later became the Hymn Organist there. He worked at RadioShack, Target, Hilton Reservations, delivered mail, and played music for the church on the keyboard, piano, and pipe organ.
