I won letters in 4 sports my senior year. Football, Basketball, Baseball and Track and Field. I also had the lead in the Senior play. Instead of Collage I went into the Military during WW II. I was in the Navy, on 2 different Submarines. The Seal and the Spearfish. And I served mostly in the the South China Sea and of course on all the fronts with Japan. After the War I got married and had 5 children. Now its 20 grandchildren. All my kids are graduates of Milliekin University in Decatur. I couldnt go to Collage but I made sure they did. I got into Roque later in life and was a 3-time National Champion. When I retired, I moved to Santa Monica Ca. and almost every warm day I work on my tan. I have nothing but warm memories for Southern Illonoise. May God bless all BRONCOS.
