Brandon Lahman
Brandon Lahman Class of 1999
Marine Corps, 8 Years
Served in the Marines from 1998-2006. Spent time in Yuma, Az, 29 Palms, CA, Cherry Point, NC, Turkey, Germany, Uzbekistan, Iraq, and Kuwait. I served as a Defense Radar Operator/Maintainer. Was Honorably Discharged in 2006.

Air Force, 20+ Years
Spent 22.5 years in the USAF and retired E-7 at Shaw AFB, South Carolina. During my 22 years we lived 3.5 years in Athens Greece, 6 years at Barksdale AFB, LA, 3 years in Incirlik Turkey, 3 years in Hawaii and finished out in South Carolina. Started as a Radio Repairman and ended up as the 20th Fighter Wing Historian.
James Ronald Rexrode

Army, 6 Years
Ron served in Japan and Korea and other US locations for 6 1/2 years. He was granted a release from active duty in January 1968 as a Captain. While in Japan he served as the US Army's Japan Briefing Officer and Executive Office for Operations and Intelligence on the General's Staff prior to his last assignment in New York City as a producer of Army Films. Ron met Betty in Japan when she was teaching PE and English for military dependents at the Army headquarters in Japan. This year marks their 50 anniversary.

Served 3 years at Fort Benning GA. as a Drill Sergeant at 2-19. Medically retired with 100% VA disability due to injuries sustained in Iraq and combat training.
Larry Frazier

19D Calvary Scout - conducted reconnaissance, security, communications and personnel recovery operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Stationed along the D.M.Z. in South Korea and Fort Stewart, GA when not deployed to the middle east. Associated with the 7th US Cavalry, multi-national task forces and 6th group S.F.. Trained sniper, light and heavy weapons expert, BFV expert gunner and commander and squad or team leader. Max rank obtained: E5 SGT - fulfilled obligation in 2006 and earned numerous military medals for excellence in service and bravery on the battlefield.

Margie Ganger

Air Force, 8 Years
After serving in the United States Air Force as a Financial Specialist and Financial Manager, I was able to secure a position as a civilian performing Finance and Accounting duties; essentially the same duties performed while active duty Air Force. My total federal experience is 32 years and eventually I was able to be a Finance Officer and Director of Finance. Although very challenging, it was entirely successful because of the solid foundation given to me by the United States Air Force military experience.

I graduated from pilot training in 1959 and flew a variety of different aircraft. I went to Viet Nam twice and flew 512 combat missions, mostly as a Forward Air Controller.
