Activities I participated in Am a Distinguished Toastmaster and a very active member. Was Vice President and President of Inland Empire American Society of Military Comptrollers. Am an active member of the Association of Government Accountants, Women Veteran's Association and am the current Finance Officer for the local American Legion. Continue to play music with several groups, which I have done for many years. I still find time for Yoga, the Gym and numerous jams.
Favorite school memory My German and Spanish classes were a lot of fun.
What I've done since school After serving in the United States Air Force, I jumped right into a civilian job doing the same thing I did in the Air Force. I worked for the government for 32 years. For 25 years I was a supervisor or manager. I was a Finance Officer at two locations and the Director of Finance for the San Bernardino Site working for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service through the Southern California fires, a flood of two feet of water in our building and through the tragedy of 9/11. I have faced and have conquered every challenge placed before me and I look forward to facing whatever happens in the future.

I have always taken very good care of my employees and they have taken good care of me. My office was the best performing one in the Defense Finance and Accounting arena. We had no audit findings in over three years. We were the best. Was presented the Value Engineering Award for Efficiency of Operation and Monetary Savings by Department of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
Hobbies & interests I love music....love to sing and play the Harmonica, Keyboard and Guitar. I play music with several groups and have for over 20 years. I am a Distinguished Toastmaster. I have been active in clubs as a member and as an officer for years. I love people and love public speaking, which would be difficult for my classmates to believe. I was married to the same man for 32 years and we had a great life together. We did a lot of fishing together over the years. I lost him in 2011 and it is difficult to live without him; but he wouldn't want me to give up on living. I continue to work hard to do what I can in this life. I have earned my Master's Degree since Robbie passed away.
