About Me	Attended Green River Community College and University of Washington. I worked in public relations and marketing for large health care organizations for 16 years, and then seven years ago changed to follow my passion for nonprofits and community service by going to work for the YWCA. It's one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the Puget Sound region and serves 50,000 low-income women and families a year who are rebuilding their lives from homelessness, unemployment, domestic violence and other life challanges.
