Joe Vigil Class of 1976
Air Force, 20+ Years Delayed enlistment during senior year, after graduation entered the US Air Force. Served 8 yrs on active duty in aircraft maintenance on the B-52 and then joined the AF Reserves. Continuing 25 yrs on the C-130 aircraft, reaching High Year Tenure. Retired as a Chief Master Sergeant, Maintenance Superintendent.

Marine Corps, 8 Years Ammo Tech 2311, served from 1987 -1996, I have been stationed on Okinawa Japan 3rdFSSG, Camp Schwab (formerly Henoko), Quantico, VA, and Camp Lejeune, NC. During this time I served during Desert Shield Desert Storm.

Thomas L. Farmer Class of 1967
Army, 3 Years Tom joined the Army right after graduation in 1967. He excelled during basic training and in his subsequent schools. He volunteered for special training as a surgical technician. He volunteered for service in Vietnam and served there from March 3, 1969 until his death on May 24, 1970. He was decorated for valor, receiving a Bronze Star and Purple Heart, after participating in rescuing some downed pilots who had been injured. He had extended his tour in Vietnam so that he could get out of the Army in time to attend medical school at UCLA. He was killed less than one month before he was scheduled to return home. Tom found great joy in serving his fellow soldiers and was proud to serve his country.
